I am currently pursuing my doctorate in the Biology Department at the University of Washington, Seattle. At UW I am a member of the Behavioral Ecophysics Lab, led by Dr. Alejandro Rico-Guevara. For my dissertation I am interested in understanding the roles of functional morphology and biomechanics in regulating the relationships between avian nectarivores (e.g., hummingbirds) and the plants they feed from/pollinate.
